Kuwait: Day 2 of 14

It's midnight and I'm exhausted.  Started work at 8am and haven't really stopped until just now. Some good photos to share, but this will be brief...

Getting down to business.

Pretty self explanatory.  Giant, blue, 600 lb. armature on the ground, fellow team members 40 ft. above on some super sketchy scaffolding.  By tomorrow at noon, this little puppy will be 18' off the ground.

Making our own fun.

Raven was supposed to take this in a way that made it look like we were riding 4x4s through the desert, not Ace Hardware.  An obvious failure.

The giant villa to the left is where we spent our evening.  The client is a 30-something oil baron trust fund kid who's been designing and building this house since 2007.  In addition to the usual - in-home theater, 1,200 square foot closet in the master bedroom, 9-car underground garage, service staff quarters - he also has his own private barber shop with a barbers chair, hair-wash sink, etc. , which wouldn't be so strange if he wasn't bald.  Super great guy though, who offered to let us stay in one of his 4 guest bedrooms when we're in Kuwait next time.  Yea, right.  The house on the right belongs to his sister.

And this is the reason why we were there in the first place.  Hung by Thomas earlier this week.
