Ah, home sweet home. Arrived in my room about 6 hours ago, and threw open my curtains to a vista of concrete and rebar. Immediately shut them and decided they should probably stay this way for the rest of the trip. It's Friday, which is a weekend day here, so I can't tell if there's actual construction going on or if this was an ambitious hotel expansion project that took off during a brighter economic time and now is just a sad unfinished reminder of the global recession. Thankfully, I'll find out soon, because the workday begins tomorrow at 7am.I have lots more to write about the past 24 hours and some more pictures to post, but will have to get to that tonight. Heading over to the jobsite now...
